LITHO-MED Digital is the device for Fragmentation of intra corporeal stone by direct contact lithotripsy with direct vision through endoscope.

LITHO-MED Digital is quite trustworthy instrument for Fragmentation of stones in kidney, ureter and bladder. During whole process, the safer lithotripsy is carried out. Digitally controlled microprocessor in single pulse and continuous pulse mode is revealing very accurate pulse.

LITHO-MED Digital having control unit, probes, hand piece and foot switch. It is a microprocessor based device. It operates with dry and clean compressed air by compressor or oxygen cylinder. It is a direct contact lithotripsy as a probe tip is directly touched with the stones in the bladder, ureter and kidney. Immediately after energizing the control unit by foot switch, at a Frequency From 1 cycle to 12 cycles the compressed air enters the hand piece and give movement to the piston hitting base of the probe, there upon, the stone is Fragmented through ballistic energy which is transmitted by the probe.

Frequencies :
Two type of Frequencies are procured,

SINGLE PULSE : For quite controlled Fragmentation the control unit is energized for single pulse by pressing the foot switch, on tip of the probe.

MULTIPLE PULSE : It is energized From one to twelve impacts per second on the tip of the probe by pressing the footswitch. It is indispensable mode to Fragment hard and large calculi. For the speedy Fragmentation the Frequencies can be kept between 4 impacts per second to 7 impacts per second.

-> Kidney stone : 1 kg/cm² to 4 kg/cm²
